This month our Adult Book Discussion Group will be reading Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult.   In this book, Ruth, an African American nurse, is working in the nursery of a City Hospital.  The parents of one infant are white supremacists and don’t want Ruth to touch their child, so she is reassigned to another patient. The next day, that baby goes into cardiac distress while Ruth is alone in the nursery. Does she obey orders or does she intervene? Ruth hesitates before performing CPR and, as a result, is charged with a serious crime.  We will meet Thursday, April 27th at 7 pm to discuss this book, so call or stop in, if you would like a copy to read.

Our computer class will meet Tuesday April 11th and Tuesday April 25th at 4:30 pm.  Come learn how to “surf the web” safely!
